Malang, portalbromo.com – Gunung Katu, yang berada di Dusun Sumberpang Kidul, Desa Sumber Suko, Kecamatan Wagir, Kabupaten Malang ini, menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi kalangan pemuda untuk berwisata atau sekedar mendaki.

Banyak keindahan alam yang di tawarkan di Gunung Katu, antara lain wahana swinger atau ayunan yang sangat tinggi kira-kira berada 705 diatas permukaan laut (dpl). Selain itu ketika pertama memasuki lokasi Gunung kita di suguhkan oleh keindahan pohon pinus yang berjajar rapi dengan udara yang sejuk, tentunya bagus untuk foto-foto.

Salah satu pengunjung yang juga penduduk di sekitar lokasi Gunung Katu Sahril ( 20 ) asal Dusun Potok Rejo, saat di wawancarai detiknasional.com mengatakan, Gunung Katu ini boleh di bilang wisata yang baru di kelola, namun untuk masalah kepuasan berwisata tak perlu di tanyakan.

” Disini selain wisata yang indah juga murah, saat kita memasuki lokasi hanya perlu bayar 5 ribu saja dan mulai explore alam disini, udaranya sejuk di tambah jajaran pohon pinus yang rapi juga pemandangan yang sangat indah,”. katanya

Dalam sesi wawancara seperti dikutip dari jawapos.com Pengelola Wisata Gunung Katu, Bayu Krisna mengatakan, wisata ini memang mengedepankan konsep wisata alam. “Tetap pada konsep alam, karena alam prinsipnya tidak membosankan. Kalau buatan manusia, ada bosannya,” ujarnya.

Dia mengungkapkan, dengan karakteristik Gunung Katu yang berada di ketinggian 705 Mdpl itu, sangat disayangkan jika tidak dimanfaatkan. “Sayang kalau dicuekin. Kami coba untuk sulap dan menyempurnakan. Namun tetap pada konsep alamnya,” terangnya.

Selain itu, yang membedakan wisata Gunung Katu dengan wisata alam lain yakni, para pengunjung juga diajak untuk ikut berkontribusi dalam konservasi alam. “Pengunjung nanti wajib tanam pohon. Kami sediakan bibit pohon,” kata dia.

Tidak hanya itu, bagi pengunjung yang ingin bermalam dengan membangun tenda, pihaknya juga menyediakan tiga camping ground. “Ada tiga lokasi camping ground. Pengunjung bisa memilih pingin bangun tenda dimana,” jelasnya.(wan)
