portalbromo.com – Cegah penyebaran virus Corona, Pemerintah kota (Pemkot) Probolinggo melalui Dinas Pekerjaan umum Penataan Ruang (PUPR) pasang wastafel portable di sejumlah ruang terbuka publik, Minggu (5/3).

Tempat cuci tangan yang sudah dipasang di beberapa titik antara lain pasar ikan Mayangan dan alun-alun itu juga di lengkapi dengan sabun dan tissu.

“Selain dalam rangka pencegahan virus corona, perlu untuk memberikan edukasi kepada warga tentang pentingnya menjaga kebersihan.” ujar walikota Probolinggo Hadi Zainal Abidin yang turut hadir di lapangan.

Total 25 wastafel portable yang akan di pasang, untuk titik pemasangan Habib ( sapaan walikota Probolinggo) akan memprioritaskan daerah yang menjadi kumpul warga seperti pasar dan tempat ibadah.

“Total 25 wastafel yang akan dipasang, namun jumlah itu akan bertambah jika nanti memang dibutuhkan, kita lihat perkambangan dulu.”

“Wastafel sudah lengkap dengan sabun dan tissu nya, saya harap warga juga turut menjaga karena ini kebutuhan kita bersama, pemerintah terus berupaya melakukan yang terbaik, selanjutnya kita serahkan ke masyarakat” himbau Habib.

Di singgung terkait stok air di tandon, pria yang juga pengasuh pondok pesantren Rodliyatus Sholihin KetapangProbolinggo itu menyampaikan, akan koordinasi dengan pihak terkait.

“Untuk stok air di tandon selain ada petugas kusus, kita akan koordinasi dengan pihak terkait, seperti Wastafel yang di pasar, kita akan koordinasi dengan kepala pasar, kita minta untuk dicek maksimal dua hari sekali, jangan sampai ada wastafel tapi tidak ada airnya” jelasnya.

Kepala Dinas PUPR & Perkim Agus Hartadi menyampaikan langkah yang dilakukan ini sebagai bentuk kepedulian pemerintah terhadap kebersihan dan kesehatan masyarakat Kota Probolinggo dalam mencegah penyebaran COVID-19.

Agus juga berharap agar masyarakat mengikuti himbauan pemerintah karena wabah corona ini menurutnya sudah mulai meresahkan dan mempengaruhi banyak hal.

“Kita minta warga selalu mengikuti imbauan, sering-seringlah mencuci tangan sesuai dengan protokol kesehatan, karena penyebaran COVID-19 ini lebih cepat melalui tangan yang kotor, tetap menerapkan pola hidup bersih, salah satunya dengan rajin mencuci tangan dan wajauh atau muka dengan sabun” jelas Agus.(mr)
