Sebanyak 661 Bibit Sereh Dan Kelor Tertanam di Kota Probolinggo

portalbromo.com – Aksi lingkungan warga Program Kampung Iklim (Proklim) di RW 3 Kelurahan Wiroborang, Kecamatan Mayangan patut diapresiasi. Secara swadaya mereka melakukan penanaman 661 bibit pohon selor (sereh dan kelor) sebagai tanda Hari Jadi ke 661 Kota Probolinggo di tahun 2020.

Penanaman selor dilaksanakan tepat hari Jumat, 4 September di fasilitas umum dan lingkungan di sekitar RW 3 atau yang dikenal Proklim Selor.

Ketua RW 3, Misto Anshori mengatakan, aksi yang dilakukan bersama warganya bertujuan untuk mengurangi dampak pemanasan global serta meningkatkan sumber genetik tanaman sereh dan kelor.

“Hasilnya bermanfaat untuk ketahanan pangan sebagai sayuran maupun obat bagi warga RW 3 dan sekitarnya. Penanaman bersama ini dilaksanakan 50 warga di fasum dan 115 warga di masing-masing RT,” kata Misto.

Misto juga mengatakan, kegiatan murni swadaya warga ini juga mendapat pendampingan dari Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) dan mendapat bantuan pot tanaman dari Sam Brunang dan AFU serta Bank Jatim. “Semoga yang kami lakukan bermanfaat untuk pembangunan Kota Probolinggo,” imbuhnya.

Penanaman selor ini diikuti Wali Kota Hadi Zainal Abidin, Wawali Mochammad Soufis Subri, Sekda drg Ninik Ira Wibawati, Asisten Pemerintahan Paeni, kepala OPD terkait, Ketua TP PKK Aminah Hadi Zainal Abidin dan Wakil Ketua TP PKK Diah Kristanti Subri serta kalangan masyarakat.

Wali Kota Habib Hadi pun mengapresiasi kegiatan warga Proklim Selor yang punya semangat kebersamaan untuk peduli terhadap Kota Probolinggo. “Tentunya, ini sangat bermanfaat. Warga juga punya spirit yang sama. Warga disini diberi kepercayaan sebagai salah satu bukti Hari Jadi kota ke 661. Tolong dijaga dan dirawat agar tumbuh subur,” terangnya.

Semangat kebersamaan yang dimiliki oleh warga untuk bersama-sama pemerintah membangun Kota Probolinggo lebih baik lagi menjadi penyemangat bagi Habib Hadi dan Subri. “Kolaborasi ini yang harus dikembangkan terus. Masyarakat bersama dan bersatu itu sangat penting. Mudah-mudahan aksi di Proklim Selor RW 3 Wiroborang ini menjadi contoh kelurahan lain, karena ini menjadi contoh yang baik,” tegas wali kota.

Kabid Pengendalian Pencemaran dan Kemitraan Lingkungan Hidup (P2KLH) Suciati Ningsih, Proklim Selor merupakan salah satu dari tiga proklim yang ada di Kota Probolinggo. Proklim selor berada di tingkat utama dan mewakili Kota Probolinggo di lomba proklim tingkat nasional. Kampung ini memiliki nilai tinggi berdasarkan indikator proklim, yaitu dari sisi pengelolaan sampah, pengelolaan lingkungan, mitigasi iklim, mitigasi bencana hingga penanganan COVID 19.

“Sebelumnya warga sudah menamakan kampungnya sebagai Proklim Selor. Tapi ketika kami melihat ke lapangan, sereh dan kelornya tidak maksimal maka kami memberi masukkan untuk menggalakkan penanaman selor tepat di hari jadi ini. Semua ini murni swadaya masyarakat dan kami sangat berbangga dengan kekompakan warganya,” jelas

Menurutnya, inovasi pengelolaan hasil selor sebenarnya sudah dikembangkan di RW 3 seperti membuat olahan pokak dan mamin berbahan dasar selor lainnya. “Kelor yang sudah semi akhirnya bermanfaat untuk warga sekitar. Karena seperti yang kita tahu kelor adalah miracle tree, banyak sekali manfaatnya seperti untuk penanganan gizi buruk,” pungkasnya.(mr)
