portalbromo.com – Kota Probolinggo punya “Rumah Restorative Justice” (RJ) yang terletak di Kelurahan Kanigaran, Kecamatan Kanigaran. Rumah RJ ini bukan hanya untuk perkara pidana saja tetapi bisa untuk konsultasi hukum terkait permasalahan-permasalahan hukum lainnya, termasuk perkara hukum perdata.
Bukan tanpa alasan kenapa Kejaksaan Negeri Kota Probolinggo memilih kelurahan tersebut menjadi percontohan Rumah RJ. “Karena menurut info dari Kapolres (Kapolres Probolinggo Kota), Kanigaran belum memiliki polsek, jadi pembentukan Rumah RJ ini dalam rangka membantu kondusifitas wilayah Kanigaran dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan hukum yang terjadi. Namun bukan berarti hal ini hanya berlaku untuk Kelurahan Kanigaran. Untuk selanjutnya kelurahan-kelurahan yang lain bisa dibentuk rumah RJ ini lagi,” buka Kajari Hartono, dalam sambutannya, saat launching di Kantor Kecamatan Kanigaran, Rabu (16/3).
Menurut kajari, sesuai yang disampaikan Jaksa Agung RI, Burhanuddin, bahwa rumah RJ dapat digunakan dan dimanfaatkan bukan saja untuk kepentingan penyelesaian perkara pidana saja. Untuk masalah keperdataan kejari menugaskan para jaksa. Sedangkan masalah pidana, pembentukan rumah RJ untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yaitu perkara-perkara dengan kriteria tertentu dengan kategori ringan.
“Perkara yang tidak harus diselesaikan dalam persidangan namun dengan cara duduk bersama antara korban dan pelaku, dimediasi oleh jaksa disaksikan juga para tokoh masyarakat dan babinkamtibnas, untuk mencari kesepakatan penyelesaian secara damai dan mufakat,” jelas Hartono tentang fungsi Rumah RJ.
Sekda drg Ninik Ira Wibawati yang dalam hal ini mewakili Wali Kota Probolinggo mengucapkan terima kasih dengan dibentuknya rumah Restorative Justice ini. Program ini juga selaras dengan program kami yang berkaitan dengan hukum, yaitu kelompok sadar hukum, yang berkaitan dengan sosialisasi-sosialisasi tentang masalah hukum.
Jadi rumah RJ ini sangat membantu kami sekali, karena akan memfasilitasi kami dengan perkara-perkara hukum. Karena ada beberapa masalah perdata masuk ke pemkot,” ungkap Sekda Ninik.
Dengan mengambil tema “Dengan Jiwa Pemaaf Kita Wujudkan Perdamaian”, Sekda Ninik berharap bahwa dengan adanya Rumah RJ Kota Probolinggo bisa lebih kondusif, masyarakat sejahtera dan tidak ada masalah yang membebani di tengah masyarakat. “Selain itu harapan ke depan, yaitu replikasi ke kelurahan-kelurahan lainnya juga bisa mempunyai rumah RJ,” tutur sekda.
Peresmian Rumah RJ ditandai dengan pemukulan gong dan penandatanganan berita acara oleh Forkopimda. (ms/mr)
