Hal ini disampaikan Kepala DKUPP Fitriawati saat menerima kunjungan audiensi Tim OPOP Provinsi Jawa Timur dan jajarannya di rumdin wali kota, Senin (11/10) siang.
Fitriawati menjelaskan bentuk kegiatan DKUPP dalam rangka mendukung OPOP tahun 2019-2020, yakni pelatihan kewirausahaan juga studi referensi, sasarannya adalah santriawan dan santriwati sebanyak 100 peserta di 33 Ponpes di Kota Probolinggo. Tak hanya itu, lomba santripeneur pun digagas DKUPP. “Merupakan salah satu program Gubernur Jawa Timur untuk memberdayakan ekonomi masyarakat, khususnya di wilayah pondok pesantren,” kata Fitriawati.
Sebagai dinas teknis yang membidangi, Fitriawati berharap adanya audiensi dengan Tim OPOP Provinsi Jawa Timur dapat bersinergi dengan program OPOP di Kota Probolinggo. “Terutama penguatan kelembagaan OPOP Kota Probolinggo, pendampingan di kualitas produk, peningkatan SDM, fasilitasi pemasaran dengan OPOP Jawa Timur, maupun dari DKUPP juga menyiapkan untuk mendampingi pondok pesantren tersebut,” urai Fitri.
Tindak lanjut dari pertemuan ini akan dibentuk Tim OPOP tingkat Kota Probolinggo yang terdiri dari beberapa perangkat daerah terkait selaku pembina yang bekerja sama dengan pondok pesantren yang sudah memiliki produk sebagai salah satu yang diunggulkan dalam OPOP.
Hal senada juga diungkapkan Wali Kota Habib Hadi Zainal Abidin dalam audiensinya, Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo melalui DKUPP siap untuk mensuport semua produk-produk sesuai dengan potensi yang ada. Tidak dipungkiri karena selama ini memang pondok pesantren tidak pernah terlintas dalam kebijakan baik itu struktur maupun anggarannya.
“Bahwasanya pesantren ini adalah suatu aset bangsa yang bisa dikembangkan karena mereka syiar di agama. Tentunya harus dibekali ekonominya agar berkesinambungan. Saya berharap ada kebijakan dari pemprov untuk terus mengembangkan dan mendorong OPOP yang ada di daerah,” tutur wali kota yang berlatarbelakang santri ini.
Menanggapi hal tersebut, Sekjen OPOP Propinsi Jatim Gus Ghofirin mengaku pemberdayaan ekonomi di pondok pesantren, salah satunya adalah Kopontren. Kopontren merupakan koperasi yang didirikan di lingkungan pondok pesantren guna menunjang seluruh kebutuhan warga yang berada di dalamnya. “Di Jawa Timur ada 6 pesantren dan 1 ikut Kopontren. Didalamnya ada bantuan permodalan minimal Rp 50 juta dan di Kota Probolinggo belum ada yang mendapatkan,” terangnya.
Untuk itu, menurut pria memakai batik merah itu pondok pesantren dapat melakukan praktek-praktek wirausaha, seperti lomba inovasi bisnis. Turut hadir giat itu Kepala Kemenag Kota Probolinggo Samsur. (de/mj)
