Ramalan Jayabaya dan Wabah Virus Corona

WABAH Coronavirus Disease 2019 atau Covid-19 telah melumpuhkan dunia, tak terkecuali Indonesia. Tapi tahukah Anda bahwa kelumpuhan dunia, yang kemudian ternyata disebabkan oleh Covid-19, telah diramalkan oleh Jayabaya sembilan abad lampau?

Prabu Jayabaya yang bergelar Sri Maharaja Sri Warmeswara Madhusudana Watarandita Parakrama Digjayottunggadewanama Jayabhayalancana adalah Raja Kediri, Jawa Timur, yang memerintah tahun 1135-1157. Jayabaya dikenal sebagai raja yang membawa kesejahteraan bagi rakyatnya.

Jayabaya bukan sekedar raja, melainkan juga seorang pujangga dan peramal ulung di zamannya. Banyak perstiwa yang terjadi di dunia dan Indonesia yang kemudian terkait atau dihubung-hubungkan dengan ramalan atau “jangka” Jayabaya, termasuk dengan model “othak athik gathuk”.

Jayabaya adalah raja yang “waskita” atau tajam intuisinya, dan “weruh sakdurunge winarah” (tahu sebelum diajarkan). Kesaktian Jayabaya dalam meramal kemudian diteruskan oleh Raden Ngabehi Ranggawarsita (1802-1873), pujangga Kasunanan Surakarta, yang juga pujangga besar terakhir Tanah Jawa.

Sedikitnya ada sembilan ramalan Jayabaya yang dalam kacamata orang Indonesia, terutama Jawa, terbukti kebenarannya, seperti kemunculan kereta api, pesawat terbang, radio/televisi, suksesi kepemimpinan di Indonesia, di mana yang menjadi presiden adalah nama-nama yang di dalamnya ada suku kata “no to na go ro”, serta zaman edan yang kemudian ditulis Ranggawarsita dalam “Serat Kalatidha”.

Benarkah ramalan-ramalan Jayabaya, termasuk kelumpuhan dunia, terbukti kebenarannya? Wallahu a’lam bisawab, hanya Allah SWT yang maha tahu.

Local Wisdom

Jangka Jayabaya adalah “local wisdom” atau kearifan lokal masyarakat Indonesia, sebagaimana dunia barat yang lebih dulu maju dan modern masih mempercayai ramalan Michel de Nostredame atau Nostradamus (1503-1566), astrolog asal Perancis, Alvin Toffler (1928-2016), penulis dan futurolog asal Amerika Serikat, John Naisbitt (1929-sekarang), penulis dan futurolog asal AS, dan sebagainya.

Soal terbukti kebenarannya atau tidak, sekali lagi, hanya Tuhan yang tahu.

Jangankan jangka Jayabaya, ramalan cuaca dari Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) yang menggunakan metodologi ilmiah saja tidak selalu terbukti akurasinya, apalagi Jayabaya yang hanya mengandalkan ketajaman intuisi.

Soal kelumpuhan dunia, meski tidak disebut secara spesifik akibat pandemi Corona, konon hal tersebut sudah diramalkan Jayabaya akan terjadi pada tahun kembar, yakni 2020 yang angka-angkanya memang kembar.

Disebutkan, “sesuk yen wis ketemu tahun sing kembar bakal ketemu jamane langgar bubar, mesjid korat-karit, Kabah ora kaambah, begajul padha ucul, manungsa seda tanpa diupakara, kawula cilik padha keluwen, para punggawa negara makarya nganti lali kaluwarga” yang artinya kurang lebih, “besok bila bertemu tahun kembar maka akan bertemu masanya surau atau musala bubar, masjid tidak teturus, Ka’bah tidak dikunjunjungi, penjahat lepas, manusia meninggal tidak diurus sebagaimana mestinya, rakyat kecil kelaparan, dan para pejabat/petugas bekerja sampai lupa keluarga”.

Memang, demi mencegah penyebaran virus Corona yang lebih luas, negara-negara yang terpapar menerapkan lockdown (penutupan wilayah) atau minimal physical distancing (jaga jarak fisik), social distancing (jaga jarak sosial) dan work from home (WFH). Adapun Indonesia menerapkan kebijakan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) yang mensyaratkan physical/social distancing serta WFH tadi.

Efeknya, ibadah umat beragama tidak boleh dilaksanakan di musala, masjid, gereja, kelenteng, pura, wihara dan sebagainya, tetapi dilaksanakan di rumah masing-masing.

Arab Saudi juga menutup sementara Ka’bah atau Masjidil Haram di Mekah dan Masjid Nabawi di Madinah, serta melarang ibadah umrah ke Ka’bah, termasuk jemaah dari Indonesia.

Begajul padha ucul? Untuk mencegah penularan virus Corona, Menteri Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) Yasonna H Laoly membebaskan lebih dari 36 ribu narapidana dengan asimilasi dan integrasi. Sekeluar dari penjara, banyak yang mengulang kembali perbuatan jahatnya.

Kawula cilik padha keluwen? Banyak perusahaan melakukan pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK). Ada yang menyebut korban PHK akibat Corona mencapai tujuh juta pekerja, termasuk yang dirumahkan.

Itu belum termasuk pekerja informal seperti pedagang kaki lima, sopir angkutan, tukang ojek, kuli bangunan dan sebagainya.

Akibatnya, rakyat kecil banyak yang kelaparan. Pemerintah kemudian membagikan bantuan sosial kepada masyarakat yang paling terdampak Corona.

Betapa banyak pula pejabat dan tenaga medis seperti dokter dan perawat yang tidak sempat menengok keluarganya gara-gara merawat pasien Corona, bahkan banyak yang meregang nyawa. Menteri Perhubungan Budi Karya Sumadi yang merupakan sahabat penulis, dan Walikota Bogor Bima Arya Sugiarto tak luput dari paparan Corona dan sempat dirawat di rumah sakit.

Ironisnya, bansos yang dibagikan pemerintah ada yang memicu kericuhan karena datanya amburadul dan banyaknya warga miskin yang tidak kebagian.

Ditambah dengan data kasus Corona yang simpang-siur antara versi pemerintah, kampus dan Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI), maka kepercayaan publik terhadap pemerintah nyaris ke titik nadir. Termasuk data asal-usul virus Corona, apakah sengaja diciptakan di sebuah laboratorium di Wuhan, Tiongkok, atau berasal dari kelelawar dan trenggiling yang kemudian menjangkiti tubuh manusia dan menyebar ke seluruh penjuru dunia.

Inilah yang oleh Jayabaya dan Ranggawarsita disebut “kalatidha” atau zaman keraguan. Tak ada yang bisa dipercaya.

Berkelindan dengan perilaku manusia yang kian tak terkontrol, maka zaman ini layak disebut zaman edan seperti digambarkan dalam bait ketujuh “Serat Kalatidha”, sebagai berikut:

“Amenangi jaman édan Mélu ngédan nora tahan
Yén tan mélu anglakoni boya kéduman
Begja-begjaning kang édan
Luwih begja kang éling klawan waspada.”

Artinya, “Berada pada zaman édan; kalau ikut édan tidak akan tahan; tapi kalau tidak ikut édan, tidak akan kebagian. Sebahagia-bahagianya orang yang édan, akan lebih bahagia orang yang tetap ingat dan waspada.”

Alhasil, dalam menghadapi pandemi Corona, dan kelumpuhan dunia yang sudah dinisbatkan oleh Jayabaya ini, kita harus tetap ingat kepada Tuhan YME dengan berdoa memohon ampunan dan pertolongan-Nya, serta waspada dengan mematuhi aturan pemerintah terkait PSBB dan protokol kesehatan terkait Corona. Badai pasti berlalu.
