PORTAL BROMO | PROBOLINGGO – Gelaran apik yang menarik minat masyarakat maupun wisatawan baru saja digelar, Minggu ( 30/9 ), adalah TWSL ( Taman Wisata Study Lingkungan ) kota Probolinggo mengadakan Gathering Upaya Pelestarian Satwa, kegiatan ini di prakasai sejumlah forum komunitas peduli satwa di Kota Probolinggo seperti, Reptilinggo (komunitas reptil), KPIP (komunitas pecinta iguana probolinggo), PFFC (komunitas burung paruh bengkok), Dog Lovers (komunitas anjing), Komunitas Sugar Glider, Kompas (komunitas musang), dan yang terakhir Komunitas Ikan Cupang.

M. Akbar selaku Plt. Kepala TWSL menyampaikan bahwa, tujuan utama daripada Gathering Upaya Pelestarian Satwa ini lebih ke arah konservasi dan pengenalan satwa, selain itu para komunitas disini berikan wawasan kepada masyarakat, tentang tata cara ketika masyarakat menemukan satwa menghimbau agar supaya tidak di bunuh maupun di buru.

“Karena inilah peran serta komunitas yang mengajarkan tentang pemeliharaan, menangkap hewan liar, seperti reptil, monyet atau yang lainya, komunitas satwa akan mengajarkan tata cara menanganinya, termasuk satwa berbahaya seperti ular,” paparnya.

Pantauan portalbromo.com, Gathering ini juga dihadiri oleh BKSDA Regional 4 Jawa Timur guna menyampaikan terkait Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan, tentang jenis tumbuhan dan satwa yang dilindungi tahun 2018, termasuk juga sosialisasi ijin penangkaran.

“Rencana bulan depan akan laksanakan gathering lagi dalam rangka sambut HCPSN 2018, dengan adanya gathering ini berharap akan menambah kecintaan masyarakat kepada satwa, juga menyambung tali silaturahmi para komunitas pecinta satwa,” tandas Akbar.(wan)
