PORTAL BROMO | PROBOLINGGO – Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo melalui Bagian Humas dan Protokol gelar rapat kordinasi terkait persiapan Media Gathering 2018, acara berlangsung di ruang rapat pemkot Sabha Bina Praja, Senin (19/11). Hadir dalam rakor tersebut Kabag Humas pemkot Probolinggo Mardi Prihantini, Kasubag Humas Dhoni serta para wartawan.

Kabag Humas Mardi Prihantini katakan, saat ini kami dari humas akan mengadakan kegiatan Media Gathering ke 2, untuk kenalkan pers kepada kepala daerah, tahun lalu Media Gathering dilaksanakan di Batu Malang dan sekarang di Surabaya diikuti sebanyak 53 wartawan dan wartawati. Ini kesempatan bisa di ikuti asalkan memenuhi prosedur.

“Tema tahun ini adalah “Keterbukaan informasi, filterisasi berita hoax dan profesionalisme jurnalis” sekarang teknologi sudah canggih, berita bisa didapat melalui online tak menutup kemungkinan berita hoax juga banyak beredar, sebagian ibu rumah tangga suplai berita hoax tersebut,” paparnya

Karena kecanggihan IT ini, berita yang dimuat di medsos dan online banyak yang tidak benar karena mudahnya informasi. “Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk pererat jalinan silaturahmi wartawan dengan pemda, dengan adanya audensi dengan wartawan harapanya bisa kenali Walikota, nanti walikota juga hadir dalam giat gathering tersebut kebetulan menjelang akhir purna Walikota Rukmini,” ujarnya

Lebih lanjut Kabag Humas sampaikan, kuota Media Gathering terbatas hanya mengajak 53 orang, karena memang ada kriteria khusus, antara lain media tersebut eksis dan rutin memuat liputan berita terkait pembangunan kota Probolinggo, ada beberapa rekan pers yang protes karena tidak di ikutkan dalam Media Gathering 2018 ini,” tandasnya.(wan)
