portalbromo.com – Kota Yogyakarta gelar kegiatan pembekalan anggota DPRD setempat periode 2019-2024, acara yang berlangsung di Hotel Rose In Yogyakarta ini dibuka secara resmi oleh Wali Kota Haryadi Suyuti, Kamis (31/10).
“Pembekalan bagi anggota DPRD bertujuan untuk membekali dengan ilmu pemerintahan, memahami tugas pokok dan fungsi DPRD sebagai mitra pemerintah yang merupakan bagian dari pemerintahan, serta meningkatkan semangat pengabdian pada bangsa dan negara,” papar Wali Kota
Menurutnya orientasi ini merupakan upaya meningkatkan daya guna para wakil rakyat dalam mengemban tugas pemerintahan, pembangunan serta kemasyarakatan menuju terwujudnya Pemerintahan yang bersih dan berwibawa.
“Untuk itu hubungan keduanya, antara legislatif dan eksekutif sebagai mitra harus dijaga, serta harus selalu sinergi dan menjaga harmonisasi, sehingga sebagai mitra pemerintah diharapkan dapat berperan dalam pembangunan Kota Yogyakarta kedepan,” tegasnya
Lebih lanjut Haryadi mengingatkan bahwa, tantangan kedepan Kota Yogyakarta akan semakin dinamis dan kompleks. Tata ruang, lingkungan hidup, penyediaan ruang terbuka publik, kemudahan akses pendidikan dan kesehatan serta komitmen dalam membangun Kota Inklusi yang ramah bagi penyandang disabiliatas tentunya menjadi perhatian kita bersama.
“Melalui kegiatan pembekalan ini Pemerintah Kota Yogyakarta mengajak peran aktif anggota DPRD untuk duduk bersama, saling mengingatkan dalam kebaikan serta memberikan yang terbaik bagi masyarakat,” tandasnya.(tim/han)
