” Kota Probolinggo ada 645 orang yang kerjanya sebagai pengemudi bus, truk, angkot, kernet dan abang becak serta tukang ojek pangkalan yang ber KTP Kota Probolinggo dapat bantuan dari Program Korlantas,” papar Kapolresta Probolinggo AKBP Ambariyadi Wijaya
Mekanismenya, pihak Satlantas Porles Probolinggo Kota mengajukan 800 orang calon penerima manfaat ke Mabes Polri. Namun dari hasil seleksi instansi tersebut jumlah yang memperoleh bantuan tersebut sebanyak 645 orang.
“Bantuan ini dari Korlantas Mabes Polri ini, yang merupakan Program Polri Demi keselamatan 2020. Sifatnya membantu para sopir, kernet, tukang becak kayuh, dan tukang ojek pangkalan yang ekonominya melemah akibat bencana non alam pandemi Corona virus”. Ujarnya
“Para penerima manfaat dari Program Polri Demi Keselamatan tersebut semuanya ber KTP Kota Probolinggo, yang sebelumnya sudah didata oleh Korlantas Polda Jatim,” jelas Kapolres
Kapolres juga menerangkan bahwa nama yang mendapatkan bantuan agar membuka rekening BRI atas namanya sendiri.
“Mereka yang dapat bantuan tersebut, diminta untuk membuka rek BRI atas namanya sendiri-sendiri. Pasalnya setiap bulannya uang bantuan itu akan ditransfer langsung ke rekeningnya masing-masing.” terangnya
Sementara itu, Kasat Lantas Polres Probolinggo Kota AKP Tavip Hariyanto menjelaskan, 645 orang yang mendapat bantuan dari Program Polri Demi Keselamatan tersebut terdiri dari Sopir bus 317 orang, Sopir truck 24 orang, Sopir angkot 32 orang, Kernet 164 orang, sedangkan Ojek tradisional 13 orang, dan Tukang Becak 95 orang. Dengan begitu Jumlah total yang mendapatkan bantuan dari Mabes Polri sebanyak 645 orang.
Mereka yang mendapat bantuan Program Polri Demi Keselamatan dari Korlantas, juga diberi pelatihan safety riding dan driving.
Pelaksanaannya dibagi tiga tahap dalam tiga bulan. Tahap pertama dilakukan pada 15 April sampai 15 Mei 2020.
“Hari ini kami lakukan pelatihan tahap pertama. Setelah pelatihan dan etika berlalu lintas, nantinya akan diberi bantuan dari pemerintah sebesar Rp 600.000,” ujar Kasat Lantas Tavip Hariyanto.
Lebih lanjut ia mengatakan, kegiatan ini berpusat di Mabes Polri, namun untuk pelaksanaannya kembali ke masing-masing polres yang ada di Kabupaten atau Kota.(wn/mr)
