Opini WTP Diharapkan Bermanfaat Bagi Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Kota Probolinggo

portalbromo.com – Wali Kota Habib Hadi Zainal Abidin kembali menerima opini WTP (Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian) keempat kalinya dari BPK RI untuk laporan hasil pemeriksaan atas LKPD Tahun Anggaran 2020. Penyerahan oleh Kepala BPK RI Perwakilan Provinsi Jawa Timur Agus Setyono berlangsung di Ruang Auditorium Kantor BPK RI Provinsi Jawa Timur di Sidoarjo, Senin (24/5). Pemkot Probolinggo mendapat opini WTP sejak tahun 2018, 2018, 2019 dan 2020.

Dalam sambutannya, Agus Setyono mengapresiasi kinerja Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo yang telah menyampaikan laporan keuangan tepat waktu serta berhasil mempertahankan opini WTP. “Selamat bagi pemerintah daerah yang selama 4 tahun berturut- turut mampu meraih opini WTP. Semoga ke depan bisa mempertahankannya dan bermanfaat bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat,” imbuhnya.

Sementara itu Wali Kota Habib Hadi Zainal Abidin merasa bersyukur bisa mempertahankan Opini WTP di dua tahun kepemimpinannya. “Bagi pemkot, opini WTP tidak sekadar dimaknai ketiadaan kesalahan penyajian akun-akun dalam laporan keuangan , namun lebih ke arah bahwa belanja pemerintah daerah harus mempunyai nilai manfaat untuk peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat, “ katanya.

Wali Kota juga menambahkan jika ini sejalan dengan visi misinya yaitu membangun bersama rakyat untuk Kota Probolinggo yang lebih berkeadilan, transparan, aman dan berkelanjutan. “Alhamdulillah. Ini semua berkat kerjasama tim work, semua menyajikan yang terbaik dan berkat doa masyarakat Kota Probolinggo. Karena saya ingin betul-betul menjadikan pemerintahan yang lebih baik lagi dan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat,” sambung Habib Hadi, saat ditemui di Kantor BPK RI.

Ketua DPRD Kota Abdul Mujib yang turut hadir dalam acara itu mengapresiasi kinerja Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo. Ia menilai fungsi kontrol anggota legislatif juga sangat maksimal dalam hal ini. “Predikat opini WTP merupakan salah satu indikator kepercayaan bagi kinerja pemerintah yang transparan dan akuntabel sehingga bisa berdampak positif bagi kepentingan masyarakat,”pungkasnya.(hum/mr)
