portalbromo.com – Setelah sehari sebelumnya mengecek perbaikan Jalan Semeru, kali ini Wali Kota Probolinggo Habib Hadi Zainal Abidin meninjau proyek perbaikan Jembatan Kedungasem, Kamis (29/7) siang. Proyek penggantian jembatan milik Balai Besar Pelaksanaan Jalan Nasional VIII Ditjen Bina Marga Kementerian PUPR memulai pengerjaannya sejak tanggal 29 Maret 2021 dan ditargetkan selesai pada tanggal 31 Oktober 2021.

Bersama Kadinsos PPA Rey Suwigtyo, Kasatpol PP Aman Suryaman, Kadishub Agus Efendi, Plt Kadis Kominfo Pujo Agung Satrio, Kalaksa BPBD Sugito Presetyo, Camat Wonoasih Deus Wanandi, Lurah Kedung Asem Yudo Pratomo, saat itu Wali Kota Habib Hadi menyampaikan bahwa kedatangannya untuk memastikan progress penggantian jembatan Kedungasem ini berjalan tepat waktu.

“Bukan wewenang kami, cuma kami ingin memastikan progresnya dan kami akan komunikasikan ke pusat ya, ke pelaksana pembangunan ini, supaya tepat waktu, sehingga penyelesaiannya tidak ada kendala lagi,” ungkap Habib Hadi yang menyempatkan meninjau usai memberikan bantuan ke warga di Kelurahan Kedungasem.

Penggantian jembatan yang menghabiskan biaya sebesar Rp 8.180.055.000 dirasa sangat penting peranannya untuk mendukung perekonomian Kota Probolinggo. “Karena ini jalur ekonomi ya, apa lagi yang mau ke wilayah dari Kraksaan mau ke wilayah Lumajang atau Jember harus lewat sini, dan dari jalan sini juga bisa masuk kota,” ungkap walikota

Sebelumnya diberitakan, rusaknya jembatan sepanjang 18 meter ini, selain karena usia jembatan yang sudah 42 tahun, juga diperparah karena tergerus banjir yang terjadi tahun 2020. Sehingga dibangunlah jembatan darurat sepanjang 30 meter dengan lebar 7 meter. (Dew/Muj)
