Humas KPH Probolinggo memberikan tanggapan, menurutnya kegiatan penebangan kayu jati tersebut dalam rangka pemanfaatan hasil hutan kayu, dan itu telah sesuai dengan amanat pemerintah tentang pengelolahan kawasan hutan Negara.
“kegiatan penebangan kayu jati yang dilaksanakan oleh Perum Perhutani adalah kegiatan Pemanfaatan hasil hutan kayu yang diatur berdasarkan Perundang-undangan dibidang Kehutanan” sumber dari Humas KPH Probolinggo, Minggu ( 28/11/2021).
Humas KPH Probolinggo menjelaskan, Perum Perhutani sebagai Badan Usaha Milik Negara yang bergerak dibidang Kehutanan sebagaimana Peraturan Pemerintah No 72 Tahun 2010 diberi amanat oleh Pemerintah untuk mengelola kawasan hutan Negara di wilayah Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur, Jawa Barat dan Banten.
Selain itu pengelolaan hutan adalah kegiatan yang meliputi Tata Hutan dan Penyusunan Rencana Pengelolaan Hutan, Pemanfaatan Hutan, Rehabilitasi dan Reklamasi Hutan, serta Perlindungan hutan dan konservasi alam.
“Kegiatan penebangan Kayu Jati yang dilaksanakan oleh Perum Perhutani KPH Probolinggo diwilayah kerja Petak 42A RPH Senduro BKPH Senduro Administrasi Pemerintahan Desa Pandansari Kecamatan Senduro Kabupaten Lumajang merupakan bagian dalam pengelolaan hutan yaitu Pemanfaatan hasil hutan kayu, yang mana kegiatan Penebangan memang harus dilakukan dalam rangka Peremajaan tanaman Kehutanan yang sudah mencapai masa daur, karena jika hal tesebut tidak dilaksanakan akan membahayakan karena rawan pohon tumbang karena usia tanaman yang sudah tua.”
“Dalam rangka silvikultur maka setelah dilaksanakan penebangan terhadap tanaman yang sudah masa daur akan dilaksanakan peremajaan dengan kegiatan penanaman kembali, sehingga fungsi hutan tetap terjaga dan tidak membahayakan bagi masyarakat yang ada disekitarnya.” Katanya.
Humas juga menyampaikan, bahwasanya kegiatan tersebut bukan tanpa dasar, penebangan kayu jati dipetak 42A RPH Senduro BKPH Senduro dilaksanakan atas dasar Surat Perintah Tebang dari Administratur/KKPH Probolinggo Nomor.10/042.3/Teb-B3/PPB/Pbo /DivreJatim Tanggal 5 Januari 2021.
Berdasarkan surat Pengesahan dari Perum Perhutani Divisi Regional Jawa Timur (Cq.Departemen Perencanaan, Pengembangan Bisnis dan Pemasaran) Nomor : 509/042.3/Ren/RenbangBis/DivreJatim tanggal 27 – 10– 2020 perihal Pengesahan RTT Tebangan B3 Tahun 2021 yang pelaksanaannya mengacu pada Prosedur Kerja Penata usahaan hasil hutan kayu yang berasal dari wilayah pengelolaan Perum Perhutani Nomor 700/KPTS/DIR/2019.
“sebelum dilaksanakan penebangan terlebih dahulu telah disosialisasikan kepada masyarakat sekitar bersama dengan LMDH, Pemerintahan Desa dan Muspika Senduro, tidak ada keberatan ataupun komplain dari masyarakat terhadap rencana penebangan tersebut, sebagaimana yang diberitakan oleh Media Momentum Lumajang.”
“Bahkan dikegiatan tebangan ada sekitar empat puluh warga setempat dipekerjakan di lokasi tebangan, hal tersebut sebagai upaya KPH dalam rangka membantu perekonomian warga sekitar, karena selama kegiatan tebangan mereka mendapatkan penghasilan, sekaligus mereka dapat beraktifitas untuk bercocok tanam pada lahan kawasan hutan yang habis ditebang, tentunya melalui program tumpangasari pada kegiatan reboisasi (penanaman kembali) dan terhadap kayu yang ditebang masyarakat mendapatkan sharing (bagi hasil) dari kayu yang terjual melalui wadah Kelembagaan (LMDH).” Jelasnya.
Humas KPH Probolinggo juga menerangkan bahwasanya kegiatan tebangan sudah dipahami masyarakat, dan hal tersebut telah menjadi rutinitas.
“Terkait dengan hal-hal tersebut diatas masyarakat sudah memahami kegiatan tebangan, karena sudah menjadi kegiatan rutin dari Perum Perhutani dalam mengelola hutan dan setelah dilaksanakan penebangan akan segera di reboisasi kembali dalam rangka pengembalian fungsi hutan, sebagaimana yang telah dilaksanakan selama ini dan kegiatan tersebut adalah kegiatan yang legal dari segi hukum.” Pungkasnya.(tim)
