portalbromo.com – Disela sepinya hasil melaut warga desa Dringu, anggota DPRD kabupaten Probolinggo dari fraksi Gerindra Reno Handoyo gelar lomba balap Perahu tradisional.

Lombah digelar di pantai Bandar Segara desa Dringu kecamatan Dringu kabupaten Probolinggo. Rencana lombah bakal diadakan selama empat hari di minggu kedua dan ke tiga bulan Januari 2023, yaitu hari Sabtu – Minggu tanggal 14-15, dan Sabtu – Minggu tanggal 21-22 Januari 2023.

Menurut Reno ( sapaan akrabnya ), selain untuk mengenalkan pantai Bandar Segara yang mulai banyak dikunjungi warga, lomba balap perahu untuk mengisi waktu luang nelayan Dringu yang mulai jarang melaut karena cuaca yang kurang bersahabat.

“Pantai Bandar Segara merupakan tempat yang cukup layak dikunjungi untuk warga yang ingin melepas penat, selain suasananya yang rindang, lokasinya juga mudah dijangkau” kata Reno, Jumat (13/1).

“Selian itu, beberapa waktu belakangan saya melihat banyak nelayan jarang melaut karena cuaca kurang bersahabat, daripada kosong mending kita manfaatkan untuk gelaran lombah, kan lumayan ada hadia. Selain dapat hadia, juga bisa menambah rizki pedagang UMKM yang jualan di sekitaran pantai” jelasnya.

Heru ketua panitia lomba menyampaikan, gelar lombah balap perahu tradisional di Dringu baru pertama kali ini dilakukan. Menurutnya, jika nanti hasilnya positif, tidak menutup kemungkinan akan menjadi jadwal rutinan.

” Kendati warga dusun Bandaran -Dringu mayoritas nelayan, baru kali ini ada lombah balap perahu , dan alhamdulliah ada yang mefasilitasi juga, Ini sangat bagus lah.”

” Jika nanti hasilnya bagus, rencana akan kita masukkan jadi jadwal rutinan, kalau banyak pengunjung yang datang, kan lumayan untuk pedagang disini, iya kan ” ungkap Heru.

Masih kata Heru, peserta lombah perdana itu hanya untuk warga Dringu saja, tidak melibatkan warga dari desa lain. Perahu yang dilombahkanyapun disewa dari neleyan setempat.

“Untuk sementara hanya warga Dringu, perahunya pun pakai yang biasa digunakan nelayan, tapi dalam lombah tidak memakai mesin, jadi perahu dilombahkan menggunakan wela ( dayung ).”

“Waktu lombah kita adakan hanya di hari sabtu dan minggu, karena hari itu biasanya pantai ramai dikunjungi warga, tanggal 14 -15 Januari dan tanggal 21-22 Januari, kalau lombah ini sukses, kedepan kita akan gelar dengan peserta lombah dari luar desa, doakan ya ” harapnya.

Kepala desa Dringu Kuryadi S,H. Mengapresisasi kegiatan ini, menurutnya hal ini cukup bagus dalam rangka pemberdayaan masyarakat desa sebagai pelaku utama pembangunan desa.

“Dalam rangka menyiapkan otonomi desa yang mandiri, maka suatu desa harus bisa mengembangkan potensi dan kelestarian alam yang ada di desa, kegiatan seperti ini cukup bagus, karena keberhasilan desa tak lepas dari partisipasi masyarakat desa itu sendiri”. Pungkas Kepala desa Satu periode itu.(mr)
