portalbromo.com – Bambu bukanlah jenis tumbuhan yang asing bagi masyarakat. Tak terkecuali warga di Kecamatan Wonoasih, Kota Probolinggo. Mereka terbiasa menggunakan bambu untuk berbagai kebutuhan seperti bahan bangunan, tiang, dinding, atap dan sebagainya. Melihat potensi ini, maka Kecamatan Wonoasih bekerja sama dengan Komunitas Noasih Kreatif dan Mandiri (KNKM) menggelar lomba kreasi bambu bagi warga Kecamatan Wonoasih.
Lomba kreasi bambu ini diikuti sekitar 12 peserta yang telah mengirimkan video pemaparan hasil kerajinan bambu dan telah terjaring 6 nominasi terbaik. Dari 6 nominasi tersebut, terpilih 3 terbaik pemenang yang diumumkan pada Rabu (29/12), di pendapa Kecamatan Wonoasih.
Juara 1 diraih M. Rizal Awidad, Kelurahan Wonoasih dengan hasil karya berupa perahu. Juara kedua Eni Yuliastutik, Kelurahan Sumber Taman dengan hasil karya tas bambu, dan juara ketiga Choirul Anwar warga Kelurahan Jrebeng Kidul berupa cermin bambu. Masing-masing pemenang memperoleh hadiah uang sebesar Rp 250 ribu hingga Rp 750 ribu.
Ketua Dekranasda Kota Probolinggo, Aminah Hadi Zainal Abidin menyambut baik dan mengapresiasi lomba kreasi bambu ini. Aminah tidak meragukan kiprah dan kreativitas yang dimiliki warga Kecamatan Wonoasih. Di tahun 2020 lalu muncul inovasi batik berungan dan di tahun ini kembali dengan inovasi berupa hasil kreasi bambu.
Aminah mendukung sepenuhnya usaha di dalam peningkatan sumber daya manusia di lingkungan Kecamatan Wonoasih melalui kegiatan-kegiatan yang inovatif, serta mampu memberikan produktivitas massal sehingga manfaatnya dapat dirasakan secara langsung oleh masyarakat.
“Untuk itu saya ucapkan selamat atas kinerja yang luar biasa ini. Harapan saya melalui penyelenggaraan kegiatan seperti ini produk-produk IKM maupun industri kecil menengah di Kecamatan Wonoasih akan dikenal dan diminati para konsumen secara lebih luas. Sehingga peluang pasarnya semakin terbuka baik lokal, nasional maupun internasional,” tuturnya.
Ke depan Aminah menginginkan warga maupun para pengrajin bambu di Kecamatan Wonoasih tetap berkreasi dan terus melakukan inovasi kekinian dengan tidak meninggalkan kearifan budaya lokal. “Melalui lomba-lomba seperti ini mampu mengasah bakat-bakat terpendam sehingga menghasilkan kreasi bambu yang unik, memiliki nilai jual dan membantu perekonomian masyarakat. Semoga kreasi ini mampu menjadi ikon bagi Kecamatan Wonoasih dan produk unggulan Kota Probolinggo,” bebernya.
Tim penilai dalam lomba kreasi bambu ini terdiri dari Ketua Dekranasda, Kepala DKUPP Fitriawati dan Kepala Dispopar Budi Krisyanto. Salah satu juri, Kepala DKUPP mengatakan kriteria penilaian menitik beratkan pada kreativitas, inovasi, biaya produksi dan dampak sosial-ekonomi.
“Dari hasil lomba ini akan menjadi cikal bakal sebagai produk unggulan daerah. Ke depan kami akan terus menggali potensi masyarakat sehingga akan muncul hasil kreativitas baru dan akan menjadi ikon Kota Probolinggo,” terangnya.
Sementara itu, Camat Wonoasih Deus Nawandi yang ditemui usai acara menjelaskan potensi bambu jika diolah dengan kreativitas maka akan menghasilkan inovasi yang luar biasa. Inovasi ini sekaligus menjadi peluang yang bernilai ekonomi dan membuka pasar bagi masyarakat Wonoasih dan Kota Probolinggo.
“Saya berharap masyarakat Wonoasih semakin berkreasi dan membuka peluang potensi-potensi souvenir yang bisa diberikan terutama ketika wisatawan datang ke kota ini. Bahkan beberapa hasil kreasi warga kami sering mengikuti pameran-pameran dan ada yang sudah masuk di gerai dekranasda Kota Probolinggo,” tutupnya. (mir/mr)
