portalbromo.com – Salah satu upaya langka preventif perederan rokok ilegal, Pemkot Probolinggo gencar melakukan penekanan melalui berbagai hal, sala satunya lewat kegiatan sosialisasi perundang-undangan di bidang cukai, Kamis 20/10/2022 di Orin Hall & resto Probolinggo.

Dihadiri Walikota Probolinggo diwakili Sekda Kota Probolinggo Ninik Ira Wibawati, perwakilan Bea Cukai, serta tamu undangan yang terdiri dari para pelaku UMKM, pedagang rokok, kelompok petani, dan masyarakat.

Mengangkat tema gempur rokok ilegal, kegiatan sosialisasi diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman terkait ketentuan dan larangan tentang bidang cukai kepada masyarakat kota Probolinggo.

“Diharapkan dengan adanya kegiatan ini masyarakat dapat lebih mengetahui ciri ciri rokok ilegal dan dapat membantu Bea Cukai dalam melaksanakan operasi gempur rokok ilegal tahun 2022 yang pada akhirnya akan berdampak pada Dana Bagi Hasil Cukai Hasil Tembakau (DBHCHT) dimana hasil dari DBHCHT tersebut kembali kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk program pemerinta seperti bantuan sosial dan lain-lain “. Kata Ninik di sambutan Pembukaan Sosialisasi.

Pada sosialisasi tersebut dijelaskan mengenai cara mengidentifikasi rokok yang menggunakan pita cukai asli atau tidak, diantarnya secara kasat mata, menggunakan kaca pembesar, maupun menggunakan lampu/sinar UV.

Disampaikan juga terkait ciri-ciri rokok ilegal yang sering ditemukan di lapangan, ada empat modus pelanggaran yaitu rokok tanpa pita cukai (polos), rokok dengan pita cukai palsu, rokok dengan pita cukai bekas, dan rokok dengan pita cukai berbeda.

Selain sosialisasi, Ninik mengungkapkan, pemerintah kota Probolinggo menggandeng Bea Cukai juga kerap melakukan Operasi lapangan dalam rangka penertiban rokok Ilegal.
