PORTAL BROMO | PROBOLINGGO – Kecamatan Wonoasih punya Gawe Akbar, Kamis malam (6/12) adalah puncak Lomba Kampung Partisipatif Kecamatan Wonoasih yang berproses selama dua bulan dengan beberapa tahap penilaian dari tim juri, akhirnya tuntas. Penganugerahan kepada para pemenang lomba digelar di halaman Kecamatan.

Kecamatan Wonoasih yang berada paling selatan batas wilayah Kota Probolinggo, serta warganya yang memiliki komitmen dan semangat perlu terus digali potensinya, menjadi dasar diadakan lomba tersebut. Selain itu, masyarakat Wonoasih ingin memberikan kontribusi dan peran serta aktif dalam pembangunan Kota Probolinggo.

Malam itu, Camat Wonoasih Deus Nawandi menyampaikan, lomba ini merupakan komitmen dan keinginan masyarakat untuk mempunyai identitas lokal. Sehingga mampu menghasilkan sebuah ciri khas lokal untuk menunjang Impressive Probolinggo City yang menjadi city branding.

Destinasi yang dimaksud, tidak hanya wisata namun mampu menjadi pusat model pemberdayaan kampung-kampung partisipatif yang ada di Kota Probolinggo. “Tak hanya sampai disini (penganugerahan), agar kampung-kampung yang sudah tertata ini tidak kembali tidur, kami akan terus mensupport salah satunya dengan mengadakan rapat-rapat atau kegiatan kantor Kecamatan dan Kelurahan di kampung-kampung partisipatif. Dengan harapan mampu memunculkan jiwa entrepreneur masyarakatnya,” ungkap Deus.

Di sela acara, Kelurahan Kedungasem dengan kampung asrinya berhasil menyabet juara 1. Piala dan piagam penghargaan serta uang pembinaan sebesar Rp 10 juta diberikan langsung oleh Wali Kota Probolinggo Rukmini.

“Dengan lomba kampung partisipatif ini, di harapkan warga masyarakat bisa berperan aktif dalam segi ekonomi, sosial budaya dan lingkungan serta ikut memelihara dan memiliki hasil pembangunan,” ujar Lurah Nurhadi

Semua kegiatan sosialisasi lebih mendekat ke lokasi warga, tidak harus di kantor kecamatan atau kantor kelurahan, tapi lokasi pertemuan atau rapat-rapat berada di tengah pemukiman warga.

“Dengan begitu kelurahan dan kecamatan mendengar dan melihat langsung, apa kemauan warga dan keinginan warga, dengan model bottom up, masaukan dari bawah serta dengan menerapkn PRA (Participatory Rural Apricial),” tegas Nurhadi

Sementara itu, Wali Kota Rukmini berharap nantinya di masing-masing kelurahan memiliki ikon yang berbeda dari daerah lain, yang mampu mendorong pertumbuhan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di masing-masing kelurahan.

“Saya ucapkan selamat kepada para penerima penghargaan kampung partisipatif, semoga terus dapat dipertahankan prestasinya bahkan meningkat di masa mendatang. Untuk mengangkat potensi Kecamatan Wonoasih pada khususnya dan Kota Probolinggo,” papar walikota.(wan)
