portalbromo.com – Kesatuan Pemangkuan Hutan ( KPH) Probolinggo gelar Groundbreaking penanaman pohon di desa Purut Kecamatan Lumbang kabupaten Probolinggo, Kamis (2/12/2021).

Acara dihadiri oleh Administratur (Adm.) KPH Probolinggo Ida Jatiyana, Camat Lumbang serta beberapa jajaran wilayah kerja KPH Probolinggo.

Pantauan dilapangan, sebelum penanaman pohon dilakukan apel yang dipimpin oleh Administratur KPH Ida Jatiyana, puluhan peserta dari anggota wilayah kerja KPH Probolinggo turut serta dalam kegiatan ini.

Administratur KPH Probolinggo, Ida Jatiyana, menyampaikan di tahun 2021 KPH Probolinggo menanam di lahan seluas sekitar 485 ha yang diperkirakan 485 ribu tanaman.

“Sebenarnya penanamannya sudah dilakukan sejak awal musim penghujan, namun kali ini kegiatan penanaman bersama-sama, sebagai seremonial bahwa penanaman pohon sebagai kewajiban dari KPH telah dimulai” Kata Ida ( sebutan akrabnya), Kamis (2/12) di lokasi kegiatan.

” Untuk tahun 2021,KPH Probolinggo menanam di lahan seluas sekitar 485 ha yang diperkirakan 485 ribu tanaman”. Lanjutnya.

Ia ( Ida Jatiyana ) menjelaskan, penanaman di tahun ini berbeda dengan sebelumnya, pola penanaman kali ini menggunakan sentuhan teknologi yang mampu mempercepat pertumbuhan pada tanaman.

“Penanaman saat ini berbeda dengan sebelumnya, jika dulu kita menanam pohon Jati itu membutuhkan waktu hingga 20 tahun ke atas, kali ini dengan sentuhan teknologi hormon dan nutrisi, dalam waktu lima tahun kita sudah bisa melihat hasilnya”. Ucap Ida.

bukan tanpa dasar, menurutnya teknologi hormon dan nutrisi itu sudah dilakukan di beberapa kegiatan penanaman pohon yang dilakukan KPH.

“Sudah kita laksanakan di beberapa tempat sala satunya di Umbul Klaka, Lumajang, baru berumur 10 bulan sudah memiliki ketinggian 5 meter dengan diameter batang pohon 8 cm”. Jelasnya.

Ida juga berharap peran serta masyarakat dalam menjaga tanaman hingga mencapai masa tebang, sebab menurutnya hutan tidak lepas dari interaksi masyarakat.

“Dalam menjaga tanaman hingga masa tebang, perlu dukungan semua elemen masyarakat dan Pemerintah Daerah serta stakeholder lainnya. Sebab, bagaimanapun juga hutan tidak lepas dari interaksi masyarakat”.

“Suksesnya program menanam pohon dapat memberi manfaat terhadap kelestarian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di dalam kawasan hutan, karena hutanselain sebagai sumber oksigen, juga sebagai tempat cadangan air.” Ungkapnya.

Sementara itu, dalam sambutanya Camat Lumbang mengapreasiasi Perhutani atas komitmen dan kepedulian dalam menjaga hutan dalam upaya penghijauan untuk lingkungan. Dia melihat, penanaman itu tidak sebatas kegiatan seremonial. Namun dilanjutkan dengan pemeliharaan dan diharapkan melibatkan banyak pihak.

“Suksesnya program menanam pohon dapat memberi manfaat terhadap kelestarian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat di dalam kawasan hutan. Saya berharap penanaman ini bisa berlanjut dengan baik dan tanaman hutan harus dilestarikan guna mencegah erosi bantaran sungai,” ujarnya.

“Masyarakat harus ikut membantu dan juga berkesempatan nanam, kami juga akan ingatkan kepala desa untuk bersama merawat hutan, pasca penebangan ini”. Pungkasnya.(mj)
