PORTAL BROMO | MALANG – Direktorat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (DPPM) Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) kembali mengirimkan 30 mahasiswa ke Desa Tawangargo, Kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang guna melaksanakan kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) yang bekerjasama dengan Kementerian Riset, Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi (KEMENRISTEKDIKTI) Republik Indonesia (19/5)

Sebagaimana yang diketahui, Desa Tawangargo merupakan salah satu desa yang dijadikan sasaran program 1000 desa organik berbasis wisata oleh Presiden RI, Bapak Joko Widodo atas keunggulannya pada pengembangan tanaman jagung, kol dan sawi (JAKOWI).

Perwakilan Kelompok Tani Mulyo, Bapak Mujib, menyampaikan hal yang senada bahwasanya para petani di desa Tawangargo telah tersertifikasi dalam hal pengembangan tiga tanaman organik tadi.

Atas dasar tersebut, mahasiswa KKN kelompok 148 merespon dengan membuat perencanan terkait pengelolaan wisata edukasi berbasis pertanian di Desa Tawangargo. Setelah acara penerimaan peserta KKN 148 yang dilaksanakan pada Minggu (19/5/2019). Mereka mengadakan pertemuan khusus antara Kepala Desa dan perwakilan KKN 148 untuk membahas program ini secara seksama dan menyusun perencanaan wisata edukasi berbasis desa.

Dwiki Darmawansyah, selaku kepala divisi agrowisata menyambut baik pertemuan ini bersama kelompom mahasiswa KKN. Dwiki bahkan memaparkan rencana perubahan skema pada lahan wisata yang digambarkan pada layout denah pariwisata. Beberapa perubahan tersebut meliputi pembangunan tempat parkir, rest area, spot foto, lahan pertanian organik, taman bunga, pembuatan petunjuk arah wisata, dan perbaikan jalur masuk-keluar menuju kawasan wisata.
Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, pihak pemerintah desa telah sepakat untuk bekerjasama dengan mahasiswa KKN 148 dalam mengembangkan wisata edukasi di Desa Tawangargo. Kata Dwiki.

Nantinya, masyarakat sekitar dan kelompok tani Tawangargo akan ikut terlibat dalam pelaksanaannya.
Dengan adanya pengembangan desa wisata tesebut diharapkan mampu menambah daya tarik wisatawan untuk mengunjungi wisata setempat. Selain itu, desa wisata tersebut dapat menjadi sumber penghasilan masyarakat setempat sehingga dapat menambah pendapatan desa setempat.(wan/gil)
