portalbromo.com – Sudah jadi rahasia umum, bahwasanya peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) Kemerdekaan RI menjadi momen yang ditunggu-tunggu oleh para narapidana. Pasalnya, di momen ini masa hukuman mereka berkurang, karena adanya pemberian remisi.

Hal itu seperti yang terlihat di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Kelas IIB Probolinggo. Sebanyak 301 narapidana diberikan pengurangan masa hukuman. Varian remisi yang diterima pun beragam. Mulai dari 1 bulan hingga maksimal 6 bulan.

“(Remisinya) macem-macem. Ada yang sebulan, dua bulan, tiga, empat bulan dan maksimal paling lama enam bulan. Ada yang langsung pulang juga hari ini. Tentu ini menjadi harapan dan dirindukan anak-anak kami (baca:napi) beserta keluarganya,” ujar Kepala Lapas Kelas IIB Probolinggo Rosman Somantri.

Rosman dalam laporannya menyampaikan, di masa pandemi seperti sekarang ini pihaknya melakukan inovasi-inovasi baru, menyesuaikan kondisi yang tengah dihadapi. Salah satunya pembinaan minat bakat, pembinaan kepribadian dan pembinaan kemandirian serta giat pesantren.

“Yang hilang dari seorang napi, adalah harapan. Disini, mereka dibina agar supaya ketika keluar, mereka kembali percaya diri dan dapat berkarya,” katanya.

Wali Kota Probolinggo Habib Hadi Zainal Abidin yang datang bersama Sekda Kota drg Ninik Ira Wibawati mengatakan bahwa remisi merupakan apresiasi negara atas pencapaian warga binaan selama menjalani masa hukuman di lapas.

Habib Hadi mengucapkan selamat kepada narapidana yang mendapat remisi tahun ini dan bersiap kembali ke tengah-tengah keluarga. Ia berpesan, untuk tidak mengulangi kesalahan yang sama. “Selamat kepada napi yang mendapat remisi ini. Saya pesan, agar tidak mengulang kesalahan yang sama. Sehingga dapat merugikan diri sendiri dan keluarga,” katanya.

Sementara untuk napi yang masih menjalani masa hukuman, wali kota mengingatkan untuk terus berbenah diri dan menjadikan pengalaman sebagai renungan untuk menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik lagi.

Orang nomor satu di Kota Seribu Taman itu, juga menyinggung perihal serius terkait pemberian vaksinasi di dalam Lapas, pada masa pandemi Covid-19 seperti sekarang ini. Sejauh ini, pemberian vaksinasi baru diberikan kepada 7 orang anggota lapas.

Wali kota menyebut, angka ini masih sangat jauh dari yang diharapkan. Untuk itu, ia pun lantas memerintahkan Dinas Kesehatan, Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana (Dinkes, PPKB) Kota Probolinggo untuk menjadwal pemberian vaksin dalam waktu dekat.

“Saya perintahkan Dinkes untuk melakukan vaksinasi kepada semua yang ada di lapas, sesuai dengan aturan yang ada, tanpa ada komorbit dan lainnya,” ucapnya.

Pada kesempatan itu, Habib Hadi dan rombongan juga meninjau lokasi bengkel kreasi napi, yang diberi nama Pojok Sakera (Sarana Komunikasi dan Edukasi Narapidana). Disana, ada beragam layanan yang bisa diakses warga lapas. Seperti wartelesuspas, self service, video call, perpustakaan dan Sistem Informasi Barang Titipan Narapina.(sn/mr)
