Puluhan Wisman Terpukau Pesona Kota Probolinggo

portalbromo.com – Senin (20/2) pagi, Kota Probolinggo kedatangan puluhan wisatawan mancanegara. Mereka adalah pelancong dari paket wisata kapal pesiar yang hari itu berlabuh di Pelabuhan Tanjung Tembaga. Dengan menaiki becak, para wisman diajak berkeliling dan berkunjung ke beberapa tempat wisata budaya dan sejarah di kota seribu taman itu.

Agenda city tour tersebut dimulai dari Tempat Ibadah Tri Dharma (TITD) Sumber Naga di Kelurahan Mangunharjo, selanjutnya Galeri Dekranasda di Alun-Alun, setelah itu Gereja Merah di Jalan Suroyo dan istirahat sejenak di Museum Probolinggo. Berikutnya, mereka diajak berbelanja ke Pasar Baru serta Sentra UMKM Batik Manggur di Kelurahan Triwung Kidul.

Diungkapkan oleh Kabid Pemasaran Pariwisata Dinas Pemuda Olahraga dan Pariwisata (Dispopar) Sudarso bahwa di bulan Februari ini Kota Probolinggo menerima 2 kali kunjungan wisman kapal pesiar. “Hari ini 33 orang, yang (tanggal) 18 itu 1800 orang, yang hari ini kapal lain, sama-sama dari manca negara,” ungkap Sudarso di sela-sela acara.

Selain wisata bangunan cagar budaya, Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo bekerja sama dengan panitia pemandu lokal juga menyuguhkan wisata seni tari. Atraksi kesenian itu ditampilkan menarik di halaman Museum Probolinggo sambil istirahat menikmati kue dan minuman tradisional.

Penampilan pertama adalah Tari Cinta Jawara. Tari tersebut menceritakan tentang hubungan asmara antara pemuda Madura dengan gadis Jawa. Dari jalinan hubungan keduanya, terlahirlah anak keturunan yang dikenal dengan Anak Probolinggo atau Pendalungan.

Berikutnya, Tari Lenggang Probolinggo, menceritakan tentang kegembiraan dan rasa syukur gadis-gadis pesisir atas hasil tangkapan ikan para nelayan yang melimpah. Selanjutnya, penampilan terakhir adalah Tari Barong Kepruk. Menurut salah seorang penari, Didin, tarian ini menggambarkan pertarungan antara kebaikan yang diwakili oleh barong melawan kejahatan yang diwakili oleh penari yang memerankan sosok siluman naga.

“Tari Barong Kepruk ini dari cerita rakyat tentang barongan berupa sosok naga ataupun siluman naga dan juga digabungkan dengan kesenian pecut samandiman,” terang penari yang aktif dari Sanggar Seni Mardi Budoyo itu.

Sementara itu, Clarens, wisman dari Florida Amerika Serikat mengaku senang bisa berkunjung ke Kota Probolinggo. “Oh ya, I am happy, lot the good things here, a lot, thank you (Saya senang, banyak hal menarik di kota ini, banyak sekali, terima kasih),” ungkap Carens yang tampak senang ketika diajak menari bersama.
