Detik Nasional, Probolinggo – Dalam rangka memperingati hari Pramuka ke 57 tahun 2018, Kwartir Cabang (Kwarcab) Kota Probolinggo berpartisipasi pada kegiatan pramuka penegak dan pramuka anggota dewasa di tingkat daerah dan tingkat nasional.
Senin, (6/8), Wali Kota Probolinggo Rukmini selaku Kamabicab (Ketua Majelis Pembimbing Cabang) Gerakan Pramuka Kota Probolinggo melepas 261 orang anggota pramuka yang terdiri dari SMA/SMK/MA negeri maupun swasta di Kota Mangga.
Sebelumnya, untuk bisa menjadi anggota pramuka yang mengikuti festival ini dilakukan seleksi dengan syarat yang telah ditentukan oleh Kwarcab. Setelah terpilih, para anggota pramuka ini melakukan pemanasan/latihan mengecat di area sungai di sekitar Bundaran Glaser.
Puncaknya, pagi tadi (6/8) seluruh anggota pramuka mengikuti apel pelepasan kontingen di halaman Kantor Wali Kota Probolinggo. Ketua Pengurus Harian Kwarcab Kota Probolinggo selaku Ketua Kontingen Indi Eko Yanuarto menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan festival wirakarya kampung kelir pramuka Jawa Timur akan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7-10 Agustus 2018 di Kecamatan Tosari, Kabupaten Pasuruan.
Ia juga menyebutkan kegiatan Karang Pamitran Nasional 2018 dilaksanakan pada tanggal 13-19 Agustus 2018 di Desa Lebak Harjo, Kecamatan Ampel Gading, Kabupaten Malang. “Dari 261 anggota pramuka ini terbagi menjadi dua. Yakni, 250 anggota pramuka mengikuti kegiatan festival wirakarya kampung kelir, serta 11 anggota pramuka dewasa mengikuti Karang Pamitran Nasional 2018,” ungkap Indi-sapaan akrabnya.
Pada kesempatan itu pula, Wali Kota Rukmini dalam sambutannya menyampaikan terima kasih kepada anggota pramuka yang telah mewakili Kota Probolinggo dalam ajang festival wirakarya kampung kelir. Serta menyampaikan selamat dan sukses kepada anggota dewasa yang akan mengikuti kegiatan Karang Pamitran Nasional.
“Kalian adalah anggota pramuka yang telah terseleksi, sehingga kalian merupakan anggota pramuka pilihan di Kota Probolinggo. Bulatkan tekad, kuatkan hati untuk menjadi yang terbaik di setiap kesempatan lomba. Semoga di ajang tersebut kalian mampu mencapai prestasi yang setinggi-tingginya sehingga dapat membawa nama harum Kota Probolinggo di tingkat daerah maupun nasional,” harapnya.(hum)
