PORTALBROMO.COM – Terpuruknya perekonomian masyarakat akibat Pandemi Virus Corona (Covid 19), Pabrik pengolahan oli bekas PT. Berdikari Jaya Bersama (BJB) yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Kedungasem, Kota Probolinggo kembali menyalurkan dana Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), untuk bantuan kemanusiaan.

Kali ini PT.BJB mengemas Bantuan kemanusiaan dalam bentuk paket beras 5 kilogram dengan total sebanyak 666 paket dan 1.600 masker. Untuk Kelurahan Kedungasem mendapat kuota bantuan 293 paket dan Kelurahan Sumbertaman 373 paket.

Sejumlah penerima bantuan tersebut, berdasarkan data yang diberikan oleh pihak kelurahan ke PT BJB pada pekan lalu.

Secara simbolis, paket bantuan diserahkan langsung oleh CEO PT. BJB, Yuwie Santoso, kepada perwakilan warga di Kantor Kelurahan Kedungasem, Kamis pagi (07/05/2020).

Yuwie mengatakan, PT. BJB juga peduli terhadap kondisi ekonomi masyarakat yang saat ini berdampak langsung akibat penyebaran wabah Covid-19. Pendistribusian bantuan beras dan masker adalah salah satu bentuk sumbangsih perusahaan terhadap masyarakat sekitar.

“Ini momen dimana kondisi ekonomi sedang tidak baik. Tetapi PT. BJB akan terus berupaya hadir di tengah-tengah masyarakat untuk saling berbagi dalam rangka menekan dampak ekonomi, akibat pandemi Virus Corona,” tandasnya.

Sementara itu, Sekretaris Kecamatan (Sekcam) Wonoasih, Parwono, mengapresiasi kepedulian sosial yang dilakukan oleh pihak PT. BJB.

“Kita tahu bersama, tidak hanya bantuan kemanusiaan. Berbagai kegiatan masyarakat seperti pagelaran seni musik dan kebudayaan, juga selalu dibantu oleh PT. BJB,” katanya

Untuk proses distribusi langsung kepada sasaran penerima bantuan, pihak Kelurahan Kedungasem akan menargetkan warga yang berada di radius 500 meter dari lokasi pabrik.

Menurut pihak Kelurahan , bantuan dari PT.BJB tersebut akan mengutamakan bagi masyarakat yang ada di sekitar pabrik “Kami sasar warga yang tinggal di radius sekitar 500 meter dari pabrik oli mas. Meskipun sudah dapat bantuan dari Pemerintah, tetap akan kami berikan bantuan ini,” jelas Plt. Lurah Kedungasem, Supriadi.

CEO PT.BJB berharap dengan adanya bantuan pangan tersebut dapat bermanfaat bagi warga yang membutuhkan.(fn)
