portalbromo.com – Bertempat di Aula Kelurahan Kebonsari Wetan, Rabu (16/6), Wali Kota Habib Hadi Zainal Abidin menyapa sebanyak 60 warga dari unsur Lembaga Pemberdayaan Masyarakat (LPM), kader PKK kelurahan, tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat, karang taruna serta babinsa dan bhabinkamtibmas tentang ingatkan bahaya narkoba.

“Tidak hanya wabah virus korona yang semakin hari semakin masif penyebarannya, ada satu hal yang tidak boleh dilupakan, yakni bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba,” sapa Habib Hadi dalam acara Sosialisasi Bahaya Narkoba yang digelar oleh Pokmas One, Kelurahan Kebonasri Wetan.

Didampingi Camat Kanigaran Agus Rianto, ia sangat mengapresiasi adanya giat ini. Pasalnya, dengan giat ini dapat mengedukasi lingkungan dan warga agar jangan hanya melihat dan membiarkan aktivitas penyalahgunaan narkoba. “Informasikan kalau ada orang-orang yang menyalahgunakan penggunaan narkoba. Bisa informasikan pada babinsa atau bhabinkamtibmas setempat. Lalu akan diteruskan pada pihak terkait yang mempunyai tugas dan wewenang yang menangani narkoba,” ucapnya semangat.

Ia menjelaskan ketidakinginannya ada keluarga, saudara, teman, sahabat memiliki kecanduan narkoba. “Awalnya memang berteman, kemudian dikasih coba-coba. Setelah coba-coba jadi keterusan sehingga terjerumus pada hal-hal yang lebih jauh, yakni kriminalitas,” urainya.

Habib Hadi mengingatkan pada peserta sosialisasi untuk bisa meneruskan informasi yang didapat oleh narasumber dari Satreskoba Polresta Probolinggo. “Nanti bisa ditanyakan pada narasumber, diskusi bersama, menanyakan lebih teknis seperti jenis-jenis narkotika dan ancaman hukuman penyalahgunaan narkoba,” cetusnya.

Lebih jauh Habib Hadi berharap, Kelurahan Kebonsari Wetan dapat menjadi percontohan kelurahan bebas narkoba, lebih kompak dan peduli pada lingkungannya. “Melalui semangat kebersamaan ini oleh Kelompok Masyarakat One bisa mengajak masyarakat di Kelurahan Kebonsari Wetan sebagai pelopor diskusi warganya, masyarakatnya, wilayahnya terbebas dari masalah hal-hal negatif, khususnya masalah narkoba,” serunya.
