PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) memajang sebuah kendaraan konsep, All New Ertiga Support, yang memudahkan penumpang berkebutuhan khusus untuk menaiki mobil.

Mobil tersebut berada di sisi kanan anjungan Suzuki di pameran Gaikindo Indonesia International Motor Show (GIIAS) 2018 dengan kursi penumpang depan yang bisa berputar ke samping yang memudahkan disabilitas naik ke kendaraan.

“Berdasarkan riset kami, konsumen berkebutuhan khusus tidak hanya sekedar memiliki keterbatasan fisik tetapi juga yang memiliki masalah terkait usia dan kesehatan,” kata Kepala Pengembangan Produk dan Aksesoris Roda Empat PT SIS, Yulius Purwanto, kepada wartawan di GIIAS 2018, Selasa.

“Berdasarkan data tersebut kami memperkenalkan All New Ertiga Support Concept sebagai solusi untuk memudahkan akses mobilisasi mereka melalui mekanisme yang sederhana dan ramah disabilitas,” kata dia.

Berdasarkan data profil Penduduk Antar Sensus (Supas) 2015 milik Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Indonesia, terdapat 21.843.408 penyandang disabilitas di Indonesia atau setara dengan 8,56 persen dari jumlah keseluruhan penduduk Indonesia.

Tingginya jumlah penyandang disabilitas di Indonesia tidak hanya tanggung jawab pemerintah saja. Partisipasi stakeholder dan masyarakat berperan besar bagi pemberdayaan penyandang disabilitas.

Untuk menjawab hal tersebut, All New Ertiga Support Concept dirancang untuk memudahkan akses kursi roda bagi konsumen berkebutuhan khusus.

Ertiga Support dilengkapi kursi yang dirancang khusus untuk memudahkan akses masuk penumpang berkebutuhan khusus ke dalam mobil. Kursi yang terletak di sisi penumpang pada baris pertama memiliki pergerakan memutar dengan mekanisme manual guna memudahkan penumpang untuk keluar dari mobil.

Hanya dengan menarik satu tuas yang terletak di sisi kiri jok depan, kursi penumpang berkebutuhan khusus dapat berputar hingga 90 derajat ke arah pintu.

“Kami berharap nantinya All New Ertiga Support Concept dapat memberikan kemudahan, kenyamanan, dan keamanan bagi konsumen Suzuki di Indonesia,” tutup Yulius
