Ajang bergengsi dalam rangka Ulang Tahun Jawa Pos Radar Bromo ke 22 tahun ini memberikan penghargaan kepada Wali Kota Probolinggo Habib Hadi Zainal Abidin pada kategori Innovation dan Implementation of Development Program bersama dengan Wali Kota Pasuruan Saifullah Yusuf dan Bupati Pasuruan Irsyad Yusuf.
Hadir diantara Wali Kota Probolinggo Habib Hadi antara lain Bupati Pasuruan Irsyad Yusuf, Wawali Kota Pasuruan Adi Wibowo, Kapolda Sumatera Barat sekaligus Presiden HDCI Irjen Pol Teddy Minahasa Putra, Ketua DPRD, instansi pemerintah, perusahaan swasta serta tokoh masyarakat di wilayah Kota/Kabupaten Probolinggo dan Kota/Kabupaten Pasuruan.
Menjawab mengenai latar belakang dilaksanakannya agenda Radar Bromo Award tahun 2021 ini, Direktur Jawa Pos Radar Bromo Ahmad Suyuti mengaku sebagai wujud apresiasi kepada instansi dan perorangan yang telah berkontribusi bagi pembangunan daerah.
“Kami di usia 22 tahun ini mengapresiasi lembaga pemerintah maupun swasta termasuk pada perorangan yang sudah banyak berjasa berkontribusi di masing-masing daerah tentunya, kalau di pemerintahan misalnya lewat program-program dan inovasinya, kalau perorangan misalnya mereka yang menginspirasi mempunyai hasil karya baik ide maupun produk yang sekarang juga banyak diminati oleh masyarakat di Probolinggo dan Pasuruan,” terang Ahmad.
Sementara, Wali Kota Probolinggo Habib Hadi menjelaskan, award yang diterima ini merupakan wujud umpan balik atas manfaat pelayanan kepada masyarakat. “Penghargaan ini adalah sebagai bentuk dasar apa yang kita lakukan betul-betul dirasakan manfaatnya, karena kita bisa mengukur apa yang kita lakukan betul-betul ada wujud dampak manfaat,” jelas Habib Hadi.
Masih menurut Wali Kota Habib Hadi, seluruh pencapaian dan penghargaan yang diterima oleh Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo adalah hasil dari kekompakan dan kontribusi semua pihak. “Tentunya keberhasilan yang diraih oleh Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo, kata kuncinya adalah karena kebersamaan warga Kota Probolinggo semua, tanpa kebersamaan mustahil kita bisa, apa yang kita rasakan sekarang ini sama-sama kita rasakan, karena keberhasilan ini berkat kekompakan warga Kota Probolinggo,” terang Habib Hadi.
Selain penghargaan bagi kepala daerah, juga diberikan penghargaan untuk tokoh yang menginspirasi serta badan usaha dan individu yang berjasa bagi kemajuan pembangunan di Kota/Kabupaten Probolinggo dan Kota/Kabupaten Pasuruan. Beberapa nama diantaranya adalah Soeparmo sebagai pegiat seni tari Glipang, Lila Umami pemilik Lila Catering, Iwan Rosyidi pelatih olahraga panjat dinding Kota Probolinggo, KPP Pratama Probolinggo, IDI Cabang Probolinggo, PT Paiton Energy dan PT POMI. Juga diumumkan pemenang dari lomba fotografi dan video yang banyak diikuti oleh peserta dari seluruh Indonesia.
Pada kesempatan itu pula, Wali Kota Probolinggo, Bupati Pasuruan, Wawali Pasuruan bersama dengan Direktur Jawa Pos Radar Bromo melaunching Radar Bromo Digital. Yakni sebuah aplikasi digital yang memudahkan masyarakat untuk mengakses berita Radar Bromo dan E-Paper Eksklusif melalui gawai masing-masing. (dew/mr)
