Wali Kota Salurkan Santunan Kematian dan Beasiswa untuk Ahli Waris

portalbromo.com – Wali Kota Probolinggo Habib Hadi Zainal Abidin, Kamis (29/7) pagi, menyerahkan secara simbolis santunan kematian program senilai total Rp.126.323.420 dari BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.

Santunan kematian itu diberikan kepada ahli waris Eko Sumaryadi, pegawai non ASN Bagian Keuangan dan Sarpras Setda Kota Probolinggo, yang meninggal beberapa waktu lalu.

Adapun rinciannya, santunan berkala senilai Rp 12 juta, biaya pemakaman Rp 10 juta, santunan kematian Rp 102.307.680 dan saldo jaminan hari tua Rp 2.015.740.

Penyerahan santunan itu langsung diberikan Wali Kota Habib Hadi di rumah duka yang berlokasi di Jalan Cokroaminoto Gg 07 RT 04 RW 04 Kelurahan Kanigaran, Kecamatan Kanigaran.

Tak hanya santunan kematian, Habib Hadi juga menyerahkan bantuan beasiswa pendidikan untuk anaknya, Vania Cantika Aurellia. Terdiri dari manfaat beasiswa pendidikan anak dari TK sampai dengan SD/sederajat Rp 1,5 juta per tahun, SMP/sederajat Rp 2 juta per tahun, SMA/sederajat Rp 3 juta/tahun, pendidikan S-1 /pelatihan Rp 12 juta per tahun.

“Mau jadi apa nanti kalau sudah besar?”, tanya Habib Hadi pada anak almarhum. “Jadi dokter gigi,” jawabnya polos

Ditemui usai penyerahan bantuan, Wali Kota Habib Hadi mengatakan, ini adalah salah satu visi misi kepemimpinannya yang sudah berjalan, bekerja sama dengan BPJS. Sekaligus upaya pemerintah agar masyarakat mendapatkan perhatian dan pelayanan sebaik mungkin, demi kesejahteraan masyarakat itu sendiri.

“Alhamdulillah dengan adanya program kerjasama dengan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, semoga bermanfaat bagi keluarga yang ditinggalkan. Sehingga bisa membantu keberlangsungan hidup dan pendidikan anaknya,” terangnya.

Ia berharap, ke depan Pemkot dan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan akan terus bersinergi dalam hal mengcover pemberian perlindungan ketenagakerjaan kepada semua masyarakat. “Mudah-mudahan secara bertahap, kita lakukan semuanya,” tandasnya. (Son/mr)
