Probolinggo, portalbromo.com – Dalam rangka peringati HUT Kemerdekaan RI yang ke-75 tahun. Pemerintah kota Probolinggo, pagi (17/8) gelar upacara di halaman kantor wali kota.

Dilakukan dengan standar protokol kesehatan, upacara peringatan kemerdekaan pemkot Probolinggo berjalan lancar. Upacara dipimpin oleh Wakil wali kota Probolinggo M soufis Subri dengan diikuti Forkopimda setempat.

Dalam sambutanya MS Subri menyampaikan, hari ini segenap bangsa Indonesa peringati hari kemerdekaan NKRI ke-75, mengingat perjuangan para pahlawan bangsa Indonesia, merupakan perjuangan yang tak ternilai harganya, karena para pahlawan kita berhasil mengusir penjajah dari tanah Indonesia.

“Proklamasi kmerdekaan adalah sebuah prnyataan bangsa Indonesia melepaskan diri dari belenggu penjajahan, sebagai nikmat dan anugrah kemerdekan wajib kita syukuri, dan ini adalah milik segenap bangsa Indonesia,” paparnya

Namun kita sadari ungkapan rasa syukur saat ini sngat brbeda, karena saat ini seluruh negara termasuk indonesia terkena pandemi covid 19, dampak ekonomi dan sosial telah dirasakan masyarakat, terlepas dari itu pemerintah pusat telah kucurkan bantuan langsung tunai dan sebagainya.

“Seperti bantuan sembako yang di bagi dalam beberapa tahap, pemkot juga ucapkan terimakasih kepada semua pihak atas bantuan dari para pengusaha dan masyarakat,” ungkap wakil walikota.

Pantauan media ini dilapangan, rangkaian acara HUT Kemerdekaan di kota Probolinggo mulai dari renungan suci di makam pahlawan, melakukan upacara, pemberian remisi kepada para tahanan hingga bagikan masker ke masyarakat di Kecamatan Mayangan dan Kademangan kota Probolinggo.(wn)
